With our greatest pleasure, we cordially invite you to participate in the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu 11th International Annual Symposium on Sustainability Science and Management (UMTAS 2012) which will be held from 9th to 11th July 2012 at Ri-Yaz Heritage Marina Resort & Spa, Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. UMTAS 2012 covers topics related to sustainability in science and management which are wrapped up under the main theme of the symposium: “Greening the Technologies and Resources for Human Wellbeing”. Sustainable researches in the area of science and management have played a vital role in our economic and social development. Indeed, there is a continuous need in finding ways to optimally utilize green and innovative technologies and resources while being environmentally, socially and economically sustainable for the whole world community. Therefore, this symposium will not only address the issues regionally but also internationally to meet a broad range of global challenges, and to promote stronger networking among participants through knowledge creation and sharing. The symposium will bring together academicians, researchers, managers, and decision makers from local and international public, and private sectors to participate in ongoing debate, and present their findings, deliberations, and recommendations on challenges and issues as well as common concerns pertaining to valuable utilization of new technologies, and resources for human wellbeing.
